Calasiao is the Puto Capital of the Philippines, as puto’s in various shapes, sizes, colors and flavors are produced in this town. The puto’s are also showcased in grand shows in the annual Puto Festival every December.

Aside from the culinary wonder that is rice cake, Calasiao is also famous forbeing the home of “pandayan” or local swords. The culture and rituals of the local blacksmiths have been passed on from generation to generation since 1970’s. One town there is even called “Pandayan” as every household used to have a factory of swords.

Calasiao can easily be known for its faith tours, as people have frequented its famous church and spiritual shrine asking for miracles and saying their prayers.
