San-Fabian

A historic place and a symbol for heroism for the Pangasinenses even for the Philippines is the municipality of San Fabian. Be welcomed by the long shoreline and beaches where many soldiers have died and where US military troops landed during World War II. The town was named in honor of Pope Fabian on January 9, 1717, followed by establishing their town’s church in 1718. They celebrate their town fiesta every January and this March 2017, they celebrated their first Darayat festival, a tri-centennial founding anniversary of the municipality of San Fabian.
